Every season, more and more players are using performance profiles. The E-P3 makes it so much easier for me to give them exactly what they want.

I just love these blades and it’s a really big game changer. ELITE does a really good job and they’re going to bring you to the next level.

The ELITE E-P3 is the best single purchase I’ve made as an Equipment Manager. As we move towards carrying more and more sets of steel for each player, the ability to profile two pairs at a time and always ensure every set is consistent has become invaluabl e to ensuring my team has a competitive advantage on the ice.

When I have the right profile, I just feel more comfortable, more grounded with the ice and can make those sharper turns, quicker accelerations.

A lot more players know about profiling. Not every skate blade is going to be perfect for every player. You’ve got different height, weight, skating style. So, it makes sense that you need to have that competitive advantage .... just like your hollow...the profile and the hollow go hand in hand.

It’s a matter of precision down to a hair’s breadth that makes all the difference for me. With ELITE you always know it’s going to be great. It’s always great.

Being able to offer profiling to the players and maintain that profile so that they could keep it throughout the life of their blade was really important to me. Being able to offer the players something to make them better -- that’s the reason we felt the ELITE system was something we had to do.

I finally found the perfect match of profile and sharpening with ELITE. It made a big difference for me — for speed, for turning, I get more glide with less effort … it was a very positive change.

One thing I can tell you about the automated machine is consistency. There’s no way that a person can sharpen 20 - 30 pairs of skate and they’ll be identical. They might be close, but they won’t be identical and that’s the difference of what the ELITE sharpener will bring to you. Consistency. Everybody’s going to have the same thing all the time.
